Sheila Partin’s Sweet Sourdough breads are available in 5 flavors: White, wheat, Italian, onion, & jalapeno-cheddar cheese. All 5 flavors are sweet sourdough and come in many different shapes and sizes, including Hamburger Buns, Sliders, Hoagies, Hot Dog Buns, Dinner Rolls, and Loaves.   Sheila Partin began baking sweet sourdough bread for her husband and children in her own kitchen in Houston, Texas in 1989. When she baked, she also shared her delicious hot, fresh bread with relatives and friends. Soon, everyone who tasted it wanted to buy it, and Sheila became known as "The Bread Lady". This labor of love expanded, and today, Sheila Partin's Sweet Sourdough is a name that is carried on a complete line of delicious baked goods and is served in hundreds of restaurants, hotel-casinos, country clubs across the United States.   Sheila Partin Buns are sourdough buns. One is the regular bun and the other is the jalepeno cheese bun. I like the jalepeno cheese bun. These are made in Houston and are shipped frozen. They are great.

  The Roadhouse in Bastrop serves their hamburgers on these buns. Voted the best burger in Bastrop for many years running.

  I haven't found anyplace in Austin that serves these buns, but I am sure there are here somewhere. I have found them in Dallas, Aransas Pass and Port Aransas. I know someone serves them in Granite Shoals.

  I think anyone that says that their buns are sourdough will be Sheila Partin buns.
