Rum helped build this country as it was the first spirit distilled in America, and most of the patriots fighting in the American Revolution were even paid in rum. We're proud of our 100% American supply chain. Our rum is distilled in the coastal South with Florida molasses and blended and bottled in the heart of America. We're the first ever liquor to use saltwater directly in our blending process. The reason is simple: salt helps to tamper the bitterness and amplify the sweet and sour flavors in a cocktail. It brightens citrus and delicate flavors like fresh herbs and fresh fruits. Salt also frees up aromatic molecules in a drink when mixed with water delivering a delicious smell every time you open a bottle or take a sip.
Saltwater Woody American Rum has three rums available; Original, Real Grapefruit, and Real Lemon. Later this spring we will launch our Grilled Pineapple Rum and our Ready-To-Drink line. Our RTDs, like our rums are made with Real Fruit Juice and Saltwater. They are non-carbonated and less than 100 calories. Our spirit based RTDs will be available in Pina Colada, Lemon Mojito, and Watermelon Pineapple Daiquiri.
