From the moment Sugarlands opened it’s doors in March of 2014, Gatlinburg tourists flocked to the distillery every day to taste an evolving menu of craft moonshine in a range of straight shine to a variety of flavors. Guests are hosted by the jovial and entertaining cast of “Tastemakers” who poured samples throughout the day. As Sugarlands popularity rapidly grew, so too, did their line up of products as they created award-winning Sugarlands Shine Appalachian Sippin’ Creams, Roaming Man Whiskey, and High Rock Vodka. Today, eight and a half years later, these products can be found in liquor stores and bars across the country in the company’s distribution footprint of over 40 states. A second production facility and distillery was opened in Kodak, Tennessee to handle the enormous year over year sales growth. The Gatlinburg flagship distillery continues to be rated the #1 Thing to Do in Gatlinburg and the World’s Top-Rated Distillery Experience by TripAdvisor reviewers.
