Celebrating 100 years in the machine tool industry, KNUTH Machine Tools has added additional models to its industry-leading 5-year warranty program.  The newest addition to this extensive family is the KNUTH ABS 320 PLC.

This bandsaw features a generous 13” cutting capacity.  Improvements come in the way of setting the cut length in the Delta control, without a physical stop, and a rotary encoder for accuracy of the feed system.  The PLC operation is simple, and the touchscreen guides the operator through the machine setup.

This unique European saw includes extensive features: touchscreen PLC control, fully automatic workpiece feed with hydraulic vise and bundle feature, automatic blade breakage control, optical height sensing, and infinitely variable cutting speed.  Also included is a 4-foot gravity infeed table and a complete high performance coolant system.

Whether via the control panel or touchscreen, all functions are clearly displayed and are easy to use. The clamping table can be moved in height using a motor and facilitates the handling of heavy parts.
