WHY VISIT?

There is a false narrative that automation is only for large-scale manufactures, when in fact today’s robotic solutions can be implemented by companies of any size.  Small to mid-size manufacturers can use automation as a means to stay competitive, increase efficiency and foster growth.

At FABTECH 2021, we will demonstrate this by showcasing a range of automation solutions:

  • NEW PRODUCT - RS013N: Meet Kawasaki’s newest general purpose robot model, offering a 13kg payload capacity, a wide working range, small footprint and IP67-classified design.
  • Paint cell: See Kawasaki’s KJ155 explosion-proof paint robot equipped with a Durr applicator paint Kawasaki ATV rims.
  • Large-scale welding and grinding cell: Using offline programming and seam tracking, a Kawasaki BA006L robot will simulate arc welding on a car bumper manipulated by a Kawasaki MX700N positioner. While another Kawasaki robot machine tends the positioner as well as simulates part-to-tool finishing by grinding the weld seam.
  • Pre-engineered deburr cell: deburring / grinding of small parts using Kawasaki’s high speed, low payload robots, model RS007N.

WHY KAWASAKI?

We talked to our staff, integrators, and customers. They all said the same thing. There are multiple worthy robotics options out there, but there is only one is the company that treats you like a human, cares about your business, and answers the phone when you call. With 50 years of experience and thousands of robots installed worldwide, Kawasaki is an automation partner you can trust.

We Are Not Robots, We Are Robotics

 Products

  • RS013N
The industry-leading RS013N builds on the momentum started by the RS007N/L model by offering a 13 kg payload capacity, small footprint and flexible, IP67-classified design, ideal for practically any general application....

  • Industry Leading Speed & Flexibility

The new robot’s design includes a new arm structure and lighter main unit. Its 1,460 mm reach is the largest in its class, allowing for installation flexibility and use in a wider variety of applications. The RS013N robot leads its class in speed, resulting in reduced cycle times and increased productivity.

    Enhanced Versatility

The robot’s wiring and installation options contribute to its overall flexibility. The robot’s internal Ethernet wiring enables easy connection to a vision system or other peripheral devices, and its floor, ceiling and wall mount options provide installation flexibility for any layout. The dust-tight RS013N offers a full-body IP67 rating, fully covered motors and waterproof electrical connections allow the robot to be used in virtually any environment. Kawasaki’s next generation R series robots also have reduced interference zones around the robot base to maximize their floor space and working area.
