(June 16, 2021) – Saint-Gobain Abrasives, one of the world’s largest abrasives manufacturers, has announced that at FABTECH this year (McCormick Place, Chicago, IL from September 13-16), it will feature its wide breadth of industry leading Norton abrasive products for right angle grinding, including for the most complex and challenging applications. Focusing on eight key metal fabrication application processes -- Cutting, Heavy-Duty Grinding, Stock Removal, Blending/ Refining, Deburring, Surface Preparation/ Cleaning, Finishing, and Polishing, Norton application engineers will be available to discuss customer application requirements. To simplify the proper selection of abrasives for varying process steps, applications and materials, a new comprehensive 24-Page Abrasives Product Guide for Right Angle Grinding will be offered.
Also to be highlighted are abrasives solutions for key industries such as Oil/ Gas, Energy and Transportation, as well as the Norton specialties line which consists of square pads, cross pads, overlapped slotted discs, bore polishers, cartridge rolls, spiral bands, cross buffs, non-woven stars and more.
In addition, a new Abrasives Process Solutions program featuring a highly advanced robotic cell for optimizing customer grinding applications will be presented at the show.

Norton Rapid Prep™ XHD Coarse and Medium Discs solve the most aggressive stock removal and blending challenges. The extra heavy-duty non-woven discs remove weld lines, weld splatter, weld discoloration and blend surfaces in a single step.
