Butler, WI – September 13, 2021 – Boschert USA introduced the PBT twister attachment to the PBT line of profile bending machines. This is another complement to Boschert’s ever-growing library of fabricating machines and solutions. The mobile attachment improves PBT’s industry-leading 3-roll profile bending machines by offering increased 3-D bending capabilities. With the addition of an optional z-axis roller and the new twister attachment, the potential applications for PBT profile bending machines are limitless. Butler, WI – September 13, 2021 – Boschert USA announced the inclusion of an improved CNC automatic angle measuring and correction option in one of the Stierli machines to be featured at Fabtech 2021 (Booth #A5716). This option will be demonstrated on a Stierli 220 with simple CNC control. During the bending operation, Stierli’s automatic angle measurement and correction measures the angle of the bent part and re-bends if needed (with automatic spring-back compensation). The required stroke and spring-back compensation are each calculated by the control to achieve the best possible accuracy. Originally only offered on the more expensive Stierli WP hybrid machines with advanced controls, Stierli now offers the option on standard machines with simple controls. For the first time, the increased accuracy, repeatability and decrease in operator error provided by the automatic angle measurement and correction option is available to fabricators at 30% less cost.

Butler, WI – September 13, 2021 – Boschert USA launched the Boschert Gizelis ElectroLine in 2019. Among the benefits of the new electric line of press brakes and shears was the continuous operational savings. Two years later, with the ElectroBend and ElectroCut installed in several manufacturing operations across the US, our customers are realizing savings not only in energy costs and maintenance labor, but also in the purchase and costly disposal of hydraulic fluids. Obviously, savings vary based on levels of use and what fluid change intervals would have been required with traditional machines. Maintenance labor for monitoring, repairing, changing and disposing of hydraulic fluids is also eliminated with the ElectroLine models.
Both the ElectroCut and ElectroBend also use 50% less energy than hydraulic models.

Butler, WI – September 13, 2021 – Boschert USA announced the availability of an updated version of Picot’s patented EasyRoll software. Picot’s rolling assistance system uses a material database and prediction algorithms to make their already first-class plate roll benders even more accurate and easy-to-use. When EasyRoll-equipped, the control anticipates the behavior of the material, allowing fabricators to accurately bend the required diameter even during initial tests – reducing material waste. EasyRoll’s update expands upon what has made it so successful in the three years since its launch by making it industry 4.0-ready. With EasyRoll V3, prediction algorithms have become more plentiful and powerful. Furthermore, the material database is now scalable. Thanks to EasyRoll V3, rolling has never been more accessible to inexperienced operators; for those experienced operators, the upgraded software is sure to significantly improve accuracy and speed.
