MILLHOG® Tools

-  Bevel the hardest tube and pipe alloys without cutting fluids at any angle.

  A pipe beveling tool for performing precision end preps on pipe up to 24″ O.D. and producing perfectly square end preps to assure high integrity
  welded joints is available from Esco Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts. The Dictator II MILLHOG® Pipe Beveler is an I.D. clamping welding end prep tool that aligns perfectly using self-centering clamps and performs any degree of bevel on pipe from 4.5″ I.D. to 24″ O.D. with up to a 2″ wall.

  Superior to hand grinding and other end prep methods, this tool includes a patented safety spring hanger for easy handling, positioning, and clamping. Featuring one mandrel and a set of three wide clamps that provide six points of contact to the pipe I.D., the Dictator II MILLHOG® Pipe Beveler mounts rigidly for chatter-free beveling, facing, and boring.

  Requiring no cutting oils, this pipe beveling machine is suitable for use on-site and in fabrication shops. Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric power are available.

  A broad line of I.D. and O.D. clamping welding end prep tools and saws for cutting and beveling tube and pipe are available for same day rental anywhere in the U.S.A. from Esco Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.

  Esco’s Rental Tools Program features the full line of MILLHOG® I.D. clamping welding end prep tools for beveling tube and pipe from 1” to 48” dia., the COHOG® O.D. clamping tool for 2” to 36” dia., and the Universal Air Powered Saw and track systems for cutting pipe up to 60” dia.

  Manufactured in the U.S.A., Esco’s Rental Tools can perform any degree of bevel on all types of alloys and cut extra heavy wall pipe to 36” dia. The Rental Program offers emergency support to minimize downtime and assure that the welding preparation job is done on time and within budget.

  A pneumatic saw and pipe trolley system that is easy to operate and cuts a wide range of pipe materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and concrete-lined pipe is available from Esco Tool of Holliston, MA.

  The Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack® System are designed to cut highly alloyed pipe perfectly square by providing a trolley that guides the saw around the circumference without wobbling. Ideal for repairing under-ground steam lines in situ, the saw cuts perfectly square with no HAZ and leaves a smooth finish for end prepping or joining pipes with couplings.

  Designed to fit pipe from 6” to 60” dia., the Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack® System is offered in 28 sizes of stainless steel bands that clamp onto the pipe and accept the saw which is mounted onto a trolley. Featuring a fiberglass reinforced blade, the operator simply maintains the blade’s leading edge on the pipe to produce a cut with ±1/16” accuracy.
