I'd rate 12 out of 10, if possible. The equipment is great, well produced, and more importantly, well supported.  And if you're new to doing laser work, that is critical!
We've had excellent support from Boss, and now have 5 Boss decks in our business.  We do engraving, cutting, prototyping, and labeling with them, working on steel, brass, wood, acrylic, leather, and various polycarbs.
I can't overstate how important good support is.  You're going to have issues. Questions. Adjustments needed. Parts, etc. these things are complex..
Out of every laser company I've worked with (several others), the Boss support is absolutely the best - I've never once had them NOT resolve an issue. The documentation is good. the phone calls and emails are excellent. And more importantly, they return phone calls, every time.
Update:  originally this post was some years ago. Since then we've gotten 2 more Boss units.  They're doing well.
We have seen Boss's support lines take longer to respond to issues (presumably due to their significant business growth?), but calls have always been returned, parts ordered have arrived on time, and every issue resolved.

We recently purchased a FC6012 Elite Fiber Laser.  Though we had a horrible shipping experience (by no fault of Boss Laser), they (and especially our sales rep Tony) went above and beyond to make our purchase a positive experience.  Last week we had the pleasure of meeting Darrius, who came to our facility for setup and training.  He trained five of our personnel with ease.  He was very efficient, knowledgable, extremely personable and provided clear and concise answers to all of our questions.
