THERMA-TRON-X is an industry leader in Industrial Finishing Systems, Water and Wastewater Treatment Equipment, Heat Processing Solutions, and Material Handling Innovations, serving all of North America (including Canada and Mexico), and the world. The TTX team takes pride in working closely with clients and leveraging over 50 years of industry experience to deliver customized solutions that continue to exceed the customer’s expectations today.

From the early days of the organization, TTX objectives have emphasized innovative solutions and designs, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. From a 17,000-square-foot industrial space in the beginning, Therma-Tron-X has since blossomed to nearly 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space with an internal 35,500 square feet of office space. TTX began with half a dozen employees but today boasts a workforce of 300+ people that cover the extent of skilled workers, office professionals, and degreed engineers.

TTX designs and manufactures most of the equipment that goes into each system including R.O. units, current collectors, wastewater treatment systems, and computer interfaces and programming.  Automatic paint and chemical feed systems are accomplished using the main system PLC providing a completely integrated system.  TTX factory service personnel can monitor, troubleshoot, and repair the sytem by modem.  We fabricate equipment in our plant as complete as it can be shipped, already wired, piped, and tested as much as possible.  Our installation supervisors are on the job for the entire installation.  Only one contract is required with TTX unlike some of our competitors who divide the contract to minimize fabricating shop union labor costs.

Established in 1969, TTX is family-owned with three generations working side by side.

Therma-Tron-X, Inc., a family-owned and operated company, was founded in 1969. For over 50 years, the Andreae family has owned and operated TTX with three generations working side by side. They have come a long way since they began manufacturing industrial ovens in an old Apple warehouse. The company now consists of 300+ employees.

TTX is currently undergoing a construction expansion of 88,200 quare feet. This is an addition to Therma-Tron-X, Inc.'s preexisting 20,000-square-foot storage building. The addition is coming along nicely, and the outer walls are currently going up, with interior plans finalized. The building will include a large conference room, bathrooms, a galley kitchen, and much more. This flexible space will ensure that TTX can respond to the needs as a growing business today and in the future. Right now, its primary purpose is for storage and freeing up manufacturing space in the main building.

A few of TTX's employees shared their thoughts about the growth and success of the business.

"When I started working at TTX nearly 30 years ago, I never thought that this small-town company would grow to what it is today."-Sue Burlo, Electrical Designer

"The building expansion represents TTX’s continued commitment to its employees, community, and customers. The expansion will ensure TTX is able to continue manufacturing high-quality finishing systems and ensure the company is here for generations to come!"-Darin Ploor, Sales Engineer

"In my 17 years here at TTX I have seen the size of our building triple and the number of employees quadruple. To me, it shows that people in the community want to be part of our TTX family and how much our customers value the high-quality products we make. I am very proud to be part of that."-Josh Kinnard, Assistant Controller

"Throughout my 12 years at TTX, I've navigated a career filled with both successes and challenges, each met with triumph. Being part of TTX's ongoing growth and success has been a rewarding experience, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunities that lie ahead."-Josh Wienke, Electrical Designer

"During my 18 years with TTX, I've witnessed remarkable growth within our work family. Despite this growth, there's been a steadfast commitment from our leadership to stay connected to the day-to-day operations. It’s easy to come to work and give your all when your employer gives back in such significant ways. TTX’s leadership is always there to support all of us and ensure we are fulfilled in the work we do. They genuinely care about fostering personal connections with employees. Even as the company expands, they prioritize getting to know each of us on a personal level. This has created a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and understood. As a Human Resource Specialist like myself, this emphasis on personal connection strengthens our workplace culture and enhances our success."-Casey Bieri, Human Resource Specialist

  • Therma-Tron-X, Inc. has a new product known as the Automated Conveyor Carrier System (ACC®)

The ACC® is an overhead conveyance system that consists of carriers that provide reliable and consistent point-to-point movement ranging from small parts to heavy parts. Battery-powered and individually programmed, these wireless vehicles navigate seamlessly on simple I-Beam tracks without chain. This system incorporates a wireless ethernet network sending instructions to each ACC®. These carriers utilize spring-loaded traction drive wheels. Weight capacities range from 10 lbs. to 12,000 lbs. The autonomous nature of the vehicles enables demand-oriented process times accommodating various part profiles' quality requirements. The vehicles are multi-directional and have precise acceleration control, making it possible to automate batch processes and conserve valuable floor space with deadhead turns.

  • SST®
Performs high-volume finishing operations utilizing a fraction of the space compared to conventional monorail systems. Components index along low-maintenance slide rails, load bars ascend and descend simultaneously into and out of the processing tanks....

  • SlideRail Square Transfer System (SST®)

The Versatile Solution for Industrial Finishing

The SST® coating system revolutionizes finishing. It saves space and boosts load density. With modular design, installation is faster, and the automatic voltage control reduces paint costs. The PLC ensures precise immersion times, coating thickness, and monitors tank levels along with oven temperatures. The SST® systems handle various operations effortlessly including high-volume electrocoating, auto-deposition coating, powder coating, liquid spray painting, cleaning, pretreatment, and heat processing. The SST® systems are versatile, catering to parts of various sizes, weights, and complexities, such as screws to truck bodies. Vertical indexing, immersion, and spray treatments occur in tanks slightly larger than the maximum work envelope, optimizing efficiency. This greatly reduces tank charging costs, as well as minimizing water and utilities consumption. SST®’s are fully automated, compact, and low maintenance; it's the ultimate finishing solution.
