Profax originated in 1969 from a small machine shop called Van Dresser and Hawkins in Pearland, Texas. Over the past 50 years, Profax has grown into one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of welding products. The manufacturing facility located in Pearland, Texas specializes in building MIG, TIG, Submerged Arc, Power Sources, Wire Feeders, Arc Gouging Torches, Plasma and related consumables. We also offer a full line of positioning equipment including Positioners, Positioner Chucks, Turn Rolls, Manipulators and Slides/Cross Slides.
Lenco was founded in 1948, and purchased by Profax in 1992. Lenco manufactures a complete line of manual welding accessories which include Electrode Holders, Ground Clamps, Cable Connectors, Chipping Hammers, Lugs and Automotive Spot Welders. The factory located in Jackson, Missouri is a fully integrated manufacturing facility with foundry, plastic molding, and machining capabilities.
