ARBURG has over 65 years of experience manufacturing systems for plastics processing. Specializing in molding, turnkey systems, and additive manufacturing. ARBURG's APF (Arburg Plastic Freeforming) additive technology takes the open material printing platform to a new level by utilizing thermoplastic pellets to print single or multi-material components. Companies can print parts for prototyping to production applications in real thermoplastic materials. Powerful software allows users to change part densities and customize print jobs.

Arburg Plastic Freeforming: Manufacture Components Up Tp 55% Faster
- Optimised: Freeformer software speeds up additive manufacturing by up to 55%
- Quick and easy: new and improved support material saves material, reduces build time and part cost
- Water-soluble: remove support material without any post finishing work
Arburg has optimised their software's support strategy for all its Freeformer machines. Water-soluble Armat support materials can be applied in a grid structure that is optimised for Arburg Plastic Freeforming (APF). This will shorten build times in the APF process by up to 55% – while also reducing material consumption and part cost. The water-soluble support material can then be washed out without manual finishing work.
