Pre-processing software for optimizing healing, positioning, nesting, texturing (with 5,000+ textures available), and slicing, using native CAD formats. The use of native CAD formats, as opposed to tessellated models, enables quick and accurate model definition with unmatched 3D printing quality according to the norms of CAD engineering standards VDA 4755/2.
4D_Additive reads CAD data from 24 different formats eg. CATIA, NX, SOLIDWORKS, Creo, Inventor, STEP, and JT as exact B-Rep geometry including all PMI, attributes, and design history. Triangulated formats such as STL, obj, and 3mf can also be read and perfectly processed.
CAD models, optimized for 3D printing and nested on the build plates, can be saved in all common formats i.e. amf, 3mf, and STL, as well as in common slicing formats cli,sli,abf, svg, usf and g-code.
