Globe Metal, a recycler of metals based in Saint-Catherine, Quebec, Canada, now offers the handling and recycling of waste material produced via the metal Additive Manufacturing process. The company is aiming to reduce the environmental and financial impact of Additive Manufacturing with its range of hazardous waste services.
Building on its experience within traditional industrial manufacturing, Globe Metal has begun working with an increasing number of Additive Manufacturing companies, including those producing parts for the aviation, aerospace, medical, dental, automotive sectors. For its part, Globe Metal recycles these companies’ metal waste, which includes titanium and its alloys, Copper, Aluminum, Nickel and Cobalt-based alloys, as well as tool and stainless steels.
As a certified recycler for hazardous materials, Globe Metal handles metal scrap in compliance with all required permits and waste codes. As part of their standard process, they can provide documentation such as a Certificate of Recycling and/or Destruction, helping generators to make sustainability and environmental goals a reality.
