Founded in 2017, Evolve Additive Solutions is a 3D printing solutions provider leveraging additive manufacturing process that prints using Amorphous Thermoplastics. Evolve  manufacturers the SVP (scaled volume production) platform, a capital equipment production machine that prints in ultra-high resolution, specializing in production parts that have complex geometries.

Evolve is pioneering an agile production technology that facilitates 3Dprinting of production- quality end-use parts from authentic end-use materials.

Evolve’s patented STEP (Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process) technology is the first of its kind in the industry. Evolve’s STEP technology sits alongside traditional manufacturing processes, such as injection molding (IM),  augmenting an organization’s production capabilities allowing freedom of design and faster time to market with “toolless” production.

Our Production Assessment Program lets manufacturers experience the capabilities of STEP technology by testing their applications on the SVP.

 Press Releases

  • MINNETONKA, Minn.--()--March 14, 2023-- Today Evolve Additive Solutions, a global leader in the manufacturing of capital equipment and ABS thermoplastic production parts announced the launch of their “Production Assessment Program”.

This program allows for clients to work with a team of engineering experts to analyze and validate the business case of their additive applications on Evolve’s SVP (Scaled Volume Production) platform, powered by STEP (Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process) technology. Clients will then receive their high-fidelity parts as well as a summary report with production validation data.

To accommodate this new program, the headquarters locations in Minnetonka, MN and the Material Technology Center in Rochester, NY recently expanded. The Minnetonka facility has added a 11,500 square footage “Production Acceleration Center” which includes an SVP system experience center, a metrology test lab, a post-processing lab, training facilities and a production parts showroom. The Rochester, NY location added 6,000 square footage and continues to test and develop new materials.

“This is an exciting time in the growth of Evolve. This expansion will allow us to continue on our path to be the industry leader for higher volume of production thermoplastic applications within the additive manufacturing space,” said Joe Allison, CEO of Evolve. “In addition, it provides us the opportunity to show the entire process from discover to delivery.”

Evolve will be at the AMUG conference as a Gold Sponsor at booth #92 in Salon C, March 19 – 23 at the Hilton in Chicago, IL.

  • SVP Machine
    Scabled Volume Production Platform...

  • Evolves SVP machine is already recognized in the industry for their ability to drive an AM production process. The platform goes beyond 3D printing to automate part serialization and hands-free post processing. With the SVP platform you can now quickly and efficiently make it possible to:
    • Bring your production grade parts quicker to market and gain a competitive edge
    • Product parts on demand wherever you have a SVP machine
    • Transition from prototype to production
  • Assembly Brackets Production Parts
ABS Production Parts via the SVP platform using STEP technology...

  • Experience the future of manufacturing and learn how agile production can help you
sustainably meet your customer needs today while designing for their needs tomorrow.
Our SVP platform, powered by STEP technology, can help you reimagine how you
manufacture without compromising what you are doing today and by removing traditional
    • Manufacture prototypes with the same process as production without having to
    transition from prototyping to production
    • Change designs from part to part with no downtime and no lead time
    • Physical molds are replaced with digital molds
    • Design to production happens in days, not weeks or even months
