Slice Engineering was founded in 2018 by two mechanical engineers with the modernist design philosophy, “Let Form Follow Function,” at the forefront of the company’s identity and engineering process. This idea of designing with functionality in mind led to Slice’s many innovations within the FFF 3D printing space, including the renowned Mosquito® Hotend.
With a commitment to quality and value-added innovation, Slice Engineering creates things that bring new value to the market—never following the crowd, preferring to blaze a new trail. Additionally, Slice has remained committed to American manufacturing, striving to produce its products as locally as possible, whenever possible.
In recognition of these innovations and local manufacturing efforts, Slice Engineering was named a Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence winner and a Top 50 Florida Company to Watch. In 2021, 3D Printing Industry named Slice Engineering the Global Startup of the Year.
