AlphaSTAR’s GENOA3DP is a simulation software that creates a digital twin of additively manufactured parts to predict thermal mechanical properties including residual stress, damage initiation, and crack growth formation. Proprietary ICME methods are used to replicate the 3D printing process from material characterization to structural analysis of the finished part in order to determine manufacturing anomalies. Users are able to optimize builds to reduce weight and scrap rate, improve performance and meet specifications.
