  • The FS721M-8-CAMS stands as a large-format metal laser powder bed fusion system, integrating the CAMS concept for continuous production capability. With its expanded rectangular build size of 720 x 420 x 390 mm, this system is the go-to tool for large-format applications in automotive, tooling, and other manufacturing sectors.

    Featuring a large build cylinder, robust eight 500W or 1000W fiber lasers, and an efficient digital scanning system, the FS721M-8-CAMS can ramp up productivity to 300cm3/h, targeting series manufacturing. Its integrated conveyor system and exchangeable cartridge strategy allow for continuous production and intensive manufacturing turnovers, minimizing machine downtime between build jobs.

    The FS721M-8-CAMS is packed with features and capabilities aimed at enhancing part quality and repeatability. These include high-performance digital optics, customized multi-laser scanning strategies, and process parameters for increased productivity and consistent performance in multi-laser overlapping zones.   • In addition to the extra-large build volume, the FS1521M series also offers circular and square build cartridge configurations to meet a broad range of application needs. The FS1521M-U square cartridge features a significant build volume of 3,862 Liters – one of the largest in the metal laser-powder bed fusion market.

    Thanks to the new calibration algorithms deployed on the 16-laser scanning strategy, each laser’s operation and overlap can be precisely controlled, ensuring uniform mechanical properties of the parts throughout the build area. The advanced multi-laser scanning strategies offer optional modes towards efficiency, quality, or balanced performance for different manufacturing needs. With a high build rate of up to 400cm³/h (eg 3.27kg/hr in Inconel, for example), the FS1521M series offers maximized printing speed for large-format parts, or reduced manufacturing cost for volume series production.

Thanks to the modular and redundant powder container design the FS1521M offers continuous feeding and collection of overflow powder for an easy, streamlined powder management process.

Equipped with up to 12 robust fiber lasers, the high-speed galvo system boosts high production yield up to 300cm3/h. The advanced multi-laser scanning strategy enables high-efficiency distribution, and calibration accuracy in overlapping areas for uniformed mechanical properties of a single over-sized part, or volume-production parts throughout the large build platform.

    The FS811M platform features many innovative designs bringing your manufacturing dreams into quality parts. The all-new multi-layer gas flow with advanced wind-wall design ensures real-time particle removal throughout the whole oversized chamber. The excellent air-tightness design of the FS811M build chamber enables extreme oxygen content, and low inert gas consumption during the build process, ensuring part quality consistency while reducing operational costs. The powerful permanent filtration system allows an uninterrupted, reliable process for extreme build times.  

    The FS811M build chamber is equipped with both front and rear doors for ease of operation and maintenance. Once the build is completed, the part cylinder can be transferred to the powder breakout station and part extract station via an integrated conveyor system. The breakout station is fully enclosed and can be accessed through glove boxes on all 4 sides, allowing multiple operators for powder removal and detail cleaning under a safe inert atmosphere. The FS811M powder handling system shares a common modular powder container design for loading, recycling, and sieving under inert gas protection offering continuous powder supply to the build job and the ability to easily monitor powder quality.
