  Penn United Technologies, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Wycon Mold & Tool, Inc.

  CABOT, Pennsylvania, May 1, 2024 – Penn United Technologies, Inc., a leading global precision contract manufacturer, today announced the acquisition of Wycon Mold & Tool, a Warminster, PA based company with capabilities in plastic injection mold design and build, precision mold components and prototype, and production volume molding capabilities. 

  “Wycon Mold & Tool has a long history supporting medical device companies with precision mold components, full mold design and build, along with assisting on critical part development, prototyping, and production,” said Bill Jones, President & CEO of Penn United Technologies, Inc.  “Wycon has built a strong reputation with their core customers…our vision is to sustain and support current activities with Wycon’s customers and grow opportunities for plastic injection and over molding with Penn United’s existing medical device clients.”

  In addition to servicing Wycon’s existing customers, the Warminster site will become part of Penn United’s Production Group.  The plastic injection molding facility will align with the group’s capabilities in production metal stamping, laser cutting, reel-to-reel plating, and precision parts assembly.  The strategic vision is to provide Penn United’s collective medical device customer base with mold design and build, plastic injection molding, and over molding with precision metal components.
