The nPower Scheduler(TM) is an ERP-agnostic scheduling solution focused on the specific needs of the additive manufacturing industry and complex manufacturing processes. Using order information, routing data, and reported labor directly from the ERP system, the nPower Scheduler schedules the entire shop floor, from the nested 3D printer build plate through all post-print processing operations. Uniquely, the nPower scheduler is capable of scheduling divergent manufacturing processes where a base plate (parent) work order feeds into separate work orders (child) for multiple end items. This scheduler auto selects a printer based on its available capacity (shop and resource calendars), the printer’s capability to produce (through a certification matrix of products), and the expected material availability at each printer (time-phased netting). Additionally, the scheduler has the ability to group similar operations with like setups to gain scheduling economies and increase over throughput. A rich, graphical user interface displays the scheduling results to the user in dispatch (resource) format as well as a customer service (work order) format.
