ARBURG has over 65 years of experience manufacturing systems for plastics processing. Specializing in molding, turnkey systems, and additive manufacturing. ARBURG's APF (Arburg Plastic Freeforming) additive technology takes the open material printing platform to a new level by utilizing thermoplastic pellets to print single or multi-material components. Companies can print parts for prototyping to production applications in real thermoplastic materials. Powerful software allows users to change part densities and customize print jobs.  Press Releases

  • Medical science and technology have witnessed remarkable advancements in recent years, particularly in the field of implants.   These implants, designed to gradually dissolve within the body over time, offer numerous advantages over traditional permanent implants. Reduced complications, better natural healing, less invasive surgery, no imaging interference and most important customizability are great advantages of such kind of implants.

The ARBURG freeformer is a leading-edge additive manufacturing platform that empowers the production of complex structures from standard granulates - the same material like in the injection molding process, offer exceptional flexibility in material choice and design.

  • Arburg’s Freeformer 750-3X HT  is designed as open systems utilizing the company’s Plastic Freeforming (APF) process for custom-configured additive manufacturing (AM). The open system can meet individual user requirements by adjusting slicing, droplet size and process regulation to influence the layer-by-layer build process utilizing a broad range of materials.

The Freeformer 750-3X HT features large build chamber which is approximately 750cm2. It is well suited for the rapid series production of large components or several articles per construction order. Its printing and space configuration are optimized.

The enlarged build chamber measures 330 mm × 230 mm × 230 mm. The temperatures are kept stable without any special air flow or circulation as a result of several technical innovations.
Due to advanced software features of the control system, it was possible to increase the printing speed considerably.

The 750-3x HT Printer has a high temperature build chamber capable of operating up to 200C. Advanced thermoplastics like Ultem 9085 have been successfully processed.

The 750-3x HT Printer is installed at Arburg’ Application center at Rocky Hill, CT. for further info get in contact Sean_dsilva@arburg.com
