Rollomatic is a private Swiss company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high precision CNC machines for production grinding of cutting tools, cylindrical grinding machines and laser cutting machines for ultra-hard materials. We are particularly proud of our latest developments of hydrostatic tool grinding machines and hybrid peel/tool grinding machines. Our sister company, Strausak Inc., builds modular, scalable and flexible 5-axis CNC tool & cutter grinding machines, utilizing the 3rd-party Numroto tool design software. We are customer-oriented, and we provide complete manufacturing solutions for the grinding of precision tools, parts, punches, medical instruments, die & mold components, including wheel dressing and measuring, as well as SmartFactory automation and measuring finished parts. Our manufacturing methods and our precision assembly are based on our passion for Swiss engineering and craftsmanship.     The ShapeSmart®NP50 is ideal for cutting tool blank preparation as well as punch and mold applications requiring complex geometry and high length-to-diameter ratios....

    • The ShapeSmart®NP50 is ideal not only for preparing cylindrical blanks, but also for non-round applications, thanks to the new patented method of pinch and peel grinding, developed by Rollomatic and called SmartPunch™.
    The newly design workhead with direct drive offers more rigidity and a precise indexing control, especially for applications requiring flat surfaces, threads as well as for non-round punches. The gripper adapter on the loader is now interchangeable and easily adjustable or replaceable.

    Each wheel arbor can accept up to 2 grinding wheels and combined with the CNC-controlled tool rotational axis, operations for medical and dental applications can be performed, such as quick-disconnect features requiring indexed flats, grooves and cylindrical portions.
