  • Minneapolis, MN, August 1, 2023 — Mate Precision Technologies, a global leader in metalworking solutions, will showcase its 52/96 workholding system at SOUTHTEC 2023 in booth 618 at the Greenville Convention Center, Greenville, SC, October 24-26, 2023.     Engineered to maximize holding power for 3-, 4- and 5-axis machining centers, Mate workholding reduces setup times and process variability, while providing best-in-class accuracy and repeatability in a compact, quick change, modular design. The system is also compatible with similar 52mm and 96mm four post pull stud configurations from Lang, Jergens, 5th Axis

    Mate’s patent-pending DynoGrip™ self-centering vises, available in 13 sizes, which feature:

    1. Quick change jaws: hardened, interchangeable and reversible, no tools are required to attach or remove.
    2. Anti-Lift Design: the pusher and jaw exert a downward force on the piece part.
    3. Synchronized timed threads on both the lead screw and pushers – repeatable precision centering, interchangeable replacement components.
    4. Mate’s QuickSpecs™: a 2D bar code tag that is smartphone-enabled and 3D graphic supported, with links to full product specs and CAD files.

  • The Mate DynoLock quick change workholding base system is the foundation of your workholding and the key to superior productivity. The product mounts to your machine bed, tombstone, pyramid or riser. DynoLock offers best-in-class accuracy and repeatability and maintains a superior holding force on the top tool. Mate takes the term Zero Point very seriously. DynoLock has what it takes to securely hold your vise, whether you change the same vise repeatedly or exchange it for a different one. DynoLock reduces your machine setup times and keeps you in the cut.

    Mate DynoMount™ mounts are designed for use with Mate DynoLock 52 family and 96 family bases. Mounts are available as three- and four-sided Tombstones; Dual Right Angles; three-sided Pyramids; and Risers....

  • DynoMount™ three- and four-sided tombstones are designed for use with Mate DynoLock 52- and 96-family bases. Using a chambered design for weight reduction, Mate three- and four-sided tombstones also have a hoist ring lift connection for easy loading and unloading. Direct-to-table mounting and custom mounting bores are available upon request. 

    DynoMount™ Dual Right Angle mounts for applications set perpendicular to the table. Designed for Mate DynoLock 52- and 96-family bases, the mounts can be set up and used on one or both sides. Using a pull stud mounting to a compatible base, they are also available with a direct-to-table mounting option. 

    DynoMount™ three-sided pyramids are designed for use with Mate DynoLock 52 and 96-family bases. Pyramids use a chambered design for weight reduction and include a hoist ring lift connection for easy loading and unloading. Direct-to-table mounting and custom mounting bores are available upon request. 

    DynoMount™ Risers are designed for Mate DynoLock 52- and 96-family bases. Available with a total of 60mm (2.36”) or 100mm (3.94”) additional height. Mate risers use a pull stud mounting to a compatible base.
