WISER’s innovative UWB Locator utilizes proprietary Redundant Radio Localization Technology (RRLT) to deliver scalable real-time location in nearly any environment, reporting precise (sub-meter or inch-level) coordinates via a computer or mobile device. The WISER Locator is accurate even in cluttered, metallic, or complex manufacturing environments where conventional tracking technologies perform poorly. The system is lightweight and portable and can be deployed in minutes, indoors or out, thanks to WISER’s wireless calibration tool.

Our Antenna Nodes establish a UWB mesh and all tagged assets are tracked as they move within the mesh tracking arena. Our Tracker Tags are small devices that ping at programmable frequencies, allowing the system to calculate location. Tags can be attached to nearly any type of physical asset to provide identity information and real-time updates on the asset's status and location. the real-time location data is displayed on a computer or mobile device, and you can watch your critical assets and work in process as they move in real-time.

 Products

  • WISER ATLAS & Locator Locating & Tracking System
The WISER system delivers immediate, live visibility & tracking of assets in real-world environments, ideal for a variety of applications such as tracking manufacturing work in progress, automating inventory, preventing loss, and streamlining operations....

  • Our ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna nodes and tracker tags communicate with one another to establish a wireless mesh. WISER's tracking software then calculates inch-level tag coordinates from these signals, overlaying live, real-time asset locations on a site map or floor plan, continuously and autonomously locating any in-mesh asset affixed with a WISER tag. Real-time data can also be integrated into software systems using WISER's API or into virtually any database using WISER's direct-to-database linkup feature.

Benefit from continuous location tracking, even through walls and obstacles, with low power requirements and configurable battery life. Reduce installation costs with plug-and-play deployment and auto-calibration. The WISER Locator can also operate in concert with existing asset tracking systems like barcodes or RFID and can be scaled for nearly any number of tagged assets or size of setting.

    General System Features

    • Delivers sub-meter and often centimeter-level precision.
    • Locates and tracks accurately in complex, reflective and metal-filled environments.
    • No line of sight needed. Operational range extends above 50 meters line-of-sight and 20-40 meters even through multiple interior walls, firewalls, or other obstacles.
    • Calibrates autonomously in a matter of moments.
    • Scales modularly to nearly any size, configuration or number of assets.
    • Allows cloud-based or on-premise solutions.
    • Can operate inside or outside firewalls for added security.
    • Operates 24-7 without the need for WiFi, Cellular, or GPS coverage.
    • IC compliant with IEEE802.15.4-2011.
    • FCC and ISED (IC), certified.

    Antennas

Antenna Nodes are positioned to establish the tracking perimeter and wireless mesh. These antennas provide location data by triangulating signals from tags within the mesh. They can also be tracked as high-update rate tags.

    • Node dimensions: 6” x 2” x 1”
    • Node weight: 40-45 grams
    • Antennas can be powered via USB port, battery, wall outlet, or PoE
    • 110 milliamp current
    • 5-volt power draw
    • Operates indoors and outdoors
    • Easy installation and adjustment
    • Antennas can also be set to tracker-mode, doubling as high update-rate tags

    Tags

Tracker Tags are small devices that ping at programmable frequencies, allowing the system to calculate location. Tags can be attached to nearly any type of physical asset to provide real-time updates on the asset’s status and location.

    • Tag dimensions: 1" x 1.5"
    • Programmable ping rates up to 8 Hz
    • Tags enter power-saving sleep mode when motionless, lengthening battery life exponentially
    • Two-way data transmission capability provides status updates in real time even for tags in sleep mode
    • Data transfer rates up to 6.8 Mbps
    • Operates at ultra-low power (microwatts) for extra-long battery life
    • Operates on replaceable coin cell batteries
    • Battery life programmable from 1-10 years
    • Sends real-time power updates, alerting user before a battery fails and needs replacement
  • WISER Ruggedized Antennas
Ruggedized antennas are ideal for both indoor and outdoor use and meets National Electric Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4x standards for outdoor protection. Our ruggedized enclosures ensure long-lasting performance in harsh and hazardous conditions....

  • Our ruggedized mesh offers the same flexibility as our standard WISER antenna nodes and is available in both Power over Ethernet (POE) and wireless options. You can even mix and match ruggedized and standard indoor WISER antennas for ultimate customization and flexibility. Invest in a WISER RTLS system built to withstand the toughest conditions and maximize uptime.

    Enclosure for Antenna Node Only
Securely mounted within a weatherized 6"x4"x4" enclosure, the WISER RTLS Antenna Node is easy to install and remove if needed. The integrated brackets make it simple to attach to a pole or building, and proper orientation is crucial for optimal performance. The enclosure should be positioned vertically with the outlet holes facing downwards and the 4"x4" surface parallel to the ground.

Ensure seamless integration with your system by connecting the USB A type connector of the Antenna Node to a 3mm to 4mm extension cable (supplied by the customer) through a split cable gland. For a clear visual of proper installation, refer to Figure 2. Choose WISER RTLS Antennas for a rugged and reliable solution in harsh environments.

    Features

    • NEMA 4X rated enclosure
    • High impact, UV resistant, polycarbonate enclosure with a hinge and integrated, polycarbonate locking latch.
    • IP54 split cable gland requires no disassembly of USB A type connector (additional water-resistant coverage due to the holes oriented at the base of the enclosure)
    • Attaches to a pole or building.

    Connectivity

    • USB 2.0 via type A connector

Enclosure for Antenna Node and a Mesh Hub or Adapter

For a larger setup, the 8"x8"x4" enclosure is ideal for an Antenna Node with either an Adapter or Mesh Hub, or for a standalone Antenna Node (refer to Figure 1). The enclosure attaches vertically to a building or pole (2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch, or 12-inch diameter) with the help of a rectangular 9.50-inch by 5.25-inch, four-hole pattern and four-tab type brackets. Ensure proper orientation with cable outlet holes facing downwards and the 8"x4" surfaces parallel to the ground.

Inside the enclosure, the Antenna Node is easily connected to the Adapter or Mesh Hub via USB. The Adapter and Mesh Hub have inputs and outputs that connect to ethernet cables, which run in and out of the enclosure through three RJ-45 compatible cable glands with a convenient split grommet for cables with 0.21-inch to 0.33-inch outer diameters.

In a setup with a Mesh Hub and two Adapters, all three cable glands are utilized. If an Adapter is connected to two other Adapters or an Adapter and a Mesh Hub, only two cable glands are needed, with a plug provided for the third opening. And for the last Adapter in a daisy chain setup, only one cable gland is required, with two plugs provided.

It's worth noting that the hand-held antennas can be easily removed from the enclosure if necessary. Choose the WISER RTLS Antennas for a versatile and scalable solution for harsh environments.
