Better Edge was established in 1998 with a focus and expertise on reconditioning solid carbide round tooling. Well known throughout the United States and Canada, the Better Edge team has been providing reconditioning services for over 25 years to metalworking end users in the Automotive & Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, Heavy Equipment, Tool Manufacturing, Medical and Energy Industries. Through the success of our reconditioning program Better Edge has expanded into custom solution specials for our customers with application specific tooling needs. By optimizing geometry and having our own in house coating capabilities we provide our customers with high performance tooling every day. Better Edge also offers its own line of Drills with a patented point geometry and Endmills for the Metalworking Industry. Better Edge's New C Series endmill uses a unique helix angle geometry improving chip evacuation for better overall performance. Using a PVD Sputtering process this endmill has a new smooth proprietary coating. This endmill has shown great success in Aerospace Materials, High Temperature Alloys, and Titanium.
