Duroair’s retractable multi chamber enclosures provides the aerospace industry with the maximum in workflow flexibility. The flexible solutions work with and not against the on-demand nature of the facility to maximize space utilization and drastically reduce or eliminate the “waiting” and “transporting” that are often associated with surface preparation and painting large industrial workpieces. This reduces or eliminates the bottlenecking of production timelines. The three chambers can be used independently, or one or both of the interior walls can be removed so that one or two functions can be performed. The enclosure can be accessed from the front or side. The entire unit can be retractable on wheels.
The multi-chamber retractable enclosure is paired with Duroair’s patented recirculating six-stage DuroPure™ air filtration system that eliminates the need for make up air and venting. The DuroPure™ Six-Stage Filtration consists of 3 stages of particulate collection, capturing paint particulate including hexavalent chromium and particulate isocyanates with two layers of depth loading filters and a third layer of high efficiency particulate filters Merv 15, HEPA, or NESHAP 319 depending upon needs. The final three stages in the DuroPure™ capture isocyanates in the gas stage and destroys VOCs with 2 stages of activated carbon filtration and UV light with PCO(photocatalytic oxidation).
