Headquartered in Irvine, California CGTech specializes in numerical control (NC/CNC) simulation, verification, optimization, and analysis software technology for manufacturing. Since 1988 CGTech’s product, VERICUT® software, has become the industry standard for simulating CNC machining in order to detect errors, potential collisions, or areas of inefficiency. VERICUT enables NC programmers to reduce prove-outs, virtually eliminate errors, and optimize NC programs for faster, more efficient machining. With offices worldwide, VERICUT software is used by companies of all sizes, universities/trade schools, and government agencies. Why Choose VERICUT?

 Products

  • VERICUT
VERICUT is the industry standard for CNC machine simulation. VERICUT reduces or eliminates the manual prove-out process to reduce scrap loss and rework while modernizing the manufacturing process....

  • Founded in 1988, CGTech's product, VERICUT, has become the industry standard for CNC machining simulation to detect errors, potential collisions, and areas for improvement. Used in companies, universities, and governemnt agencies across 55+ countries, VERICUT reduces or eliminates thje manual prove-out process. This reduces scrap loss and rework and modernizes the manufacturing workflow to spend less machining time on testing and debugging the NC program.

VERICUT simulates all types of CNC machine tools, including those from leading manufacturers. VERICUT has interfaces to integrate with all leading CAM systems, but can also run independently. Verify and optimize your toolpaths without risking a costly machine crash or scrapping an expensive part.

  • VERICUT Force
Force is a physics-based NC program optimization module that analyzes and optimizing cutting conditions throughout NC program operations....

  • VERICUT Force is a module available to optimize NC programs. It takes data from the tool, the stock material, and ther machining conditions to optimize feedrates and spindle speeds in order to achieve a constant, ideal chip thickness. The result is a significant time savings in cycle time as well as improved cutting tool and machine life.

Force includes graphs that allow NC programmers to visualize what is happening cut-by-cut throughout the NC program as the tool is in contact with the material. Graphs make it easy to see underutilized cutting conditions, excessive forces, changes in metal removal rates, power, torque, tool deflection, and more.

  • VERICUT Composite Simulation (VCS)
VCS is a simulated work environment for automated composites manufacturing using CAD models and NC programs....

  • VCS is based on the industry-leading VERICUT software and simulates the sequence of NC programs on a virtual machine, including head changes, probing, knife cutting, and more. Material is applied to the layup form via NC program instructions in a virtual CNC simulation environment. The simulated material can be measured and inspected for stack thickness, ply offset, ply angle, and other manufacturing specifications to ensure that the program is following the designed standards and requirements.

VCS can be configured for virtually any CNC syntax and machine kinematics configuration and validates the actual NC program that will run on the layup equipment. Users can also automatically create a report showing simulation results and statistical information to inspect the results.

  • VERICUT Composite Programming (VCP)
VERICUT Composite Programming (VCP) reads CAD surfaces and ply boundary information and adds material to fill the plies according to user-specified manufacturing standards and requirements....

  • VCP reads Fibersim, CATIA STEP, or SAT external ply geometry and information such as boundary geometry, ply direction, axis or rosette systems, and start points. UIsers can create geometry within VCP using axis systems, points, lines, and curves and can add thickness to the layup form for subsequent sequences. VCP also calculates and balances material usage as well as conformance to visualize ply angle deviations, steering violations, and roller compression to pinpoint areas with severe material violations.
