Interested in improving your ED’s pediatric readiness? Come visit the booth to learn more about the ACEP Pediatric SimBox and how you can receive it for FREE. With the assistance of an ACEP Pediatric Section Grant, the ACEP Pediatric SimBox, an “off the shelf” open access low fidelity simulation-based resource, was created. The box includes a low fidelity infant manikin, a detailed scenario of the “first 5 minutes” presentation of an ill neonate, two resource booklets, and website information where you can find a video to assist with simulation realism. The project designers and members of the pediatric section will be available to orient you to the contents of the SimBox and our website. They can answer questions about the process and help you sign up to receive a SimBox. Twice daily at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm, we will have demonstrations on how to run your own low-fidelity pediatric simulation utilizing the contents of the box. We hope to see you there!
