Tséhootsooí Medical Center (TMC), a 56-bed acute care facility is the primary hospital for the Fort Defiance Indian Health Board’s healthcare delivery system. Accredited by CMS, Tséhootsooí Medical Center provides general outpatient and inpatient healthcare to 16 surrounding communities. The Emergency Department maintains round-the-clock medical services and serves approximately 25,000 patients per year.
