NeuSTAT has been developed for use as a Hospital Monitor to monitor for Intracranial Hemorrhage (ICH), with scans that can differentiate between stroke subtypes that require different immediate care.
NeuroHawk EMS is being developed to place on a patient’s head like a cap, to perform scans in just a few seconds, to quickly diagnose and triage TBI or stroke subtypes in the pre-hospital or ED setting.
Both devices transmit low power radio waves through the patient’s brain, detecting bleeds as small as 3 mL and differentiating between hemorrhage, large-vessel occlusion and small ischemic strokes.
