Master of Medical Management, Carnegie Mellon University

  • Booth: 1111

The Master of Medical Management (MMM) program at Carnegie Mellon University arms physicians with skills needed to lead tomorrow’s health care industry. Exclusively for physicians, the MMM concentrates on three distinct, related competencies necessary to build and manage successful health care organizations: leadership, strategy, and the management of information.  Created in 1988 in the CMU tradition of interdisciplinary innovation, the MMM is 18 months, cohort-based, and taught in a hybrid online/on-campus format.  MMM students visit the CMU campus in Pittsburgh four times for sessions that last four-and-a-half days each. Most MMM students have experience in large health care systems, insurance companies, rural and private practices. Our faculty comprises award-winning thought leaders in health care, information systems, policy, economics, operations research, and more. Classes begin each September. Candidates are encouraged to submit their application and supporting materials as soon as possible, no later than April 1 of the expected enrollment year. We will continue to accept applications if space remains after April 1.
