The Avant STAMP language test was created at the University of Oregon to improve language-learning outcomes and support excellence in language programs. Avant STAMP enables:
- Teachers to be effective in improving proficiency outcomes.
- Empowers administrators to make better-informed decisions about curriculum and teacher professional learning.
- Delivery of accurate data on students’ proficiency levels.
Leading language programs use Avant STAMP data to:
- Refocus curricula and introduce professional development to hone their teachers’ ability to deliver improved proficiency outcomes.
- Measure language learner growth.
- Qualify for State or Global Seals of Biliteracy.
- Award Competency-Based Credits.
Avant STAMP engages learners with real-world content that is aligned to the topics commonly taught at each level of instruction including age-appropriate content for young learners in grades six and below with Avant STAMP 4Se. Avant STAMP’s adaptive test design adjusts to a test taker’s level so they are challenged, but not overwhelmed. And because Avant STAMP is a computer-adaptive test, it liberates learners to show what they can do with the language – all the way up to the top of the Advanced level.
