Demonstrate your Commitment to Patient Safety

The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP), the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and the DALE Foundation have developed a comprehensive infection control education and credentialing initiative. The collaboration includes four elements:

• A three-step educational certificate available to everyone who works or plans to work in, or provides goods and services to a dental setting
• A professional certification designed for the dental team and other clinicians, including infection control coordinators
• An industry certification is intended for sales representatives and other professionals who work for the companies that manufacture or distribute dental infection control products, dental practice managers, state regulatory board inspectors or investigators, and anyone else who meets the eligibility requirements.
• A series of jointly developed interactive online Continuing Dental Education Articles for anyone who is looking to learn more about infection control topics and earn CE credits
