Virteasy Dental - An advanced haptic & VR training simulator
Virteasy Dental (by HRV Simulation - a French startup) is one of the leading haptic / VR simulators. Currently used by more than 30 universities worldwide to teach students restoration, endodontics, prosthodontics, implantology (with full planning) and validating core operative skills.
Our development partner is The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom who have fully integrated Virteasy into their under graduate teaching programme since 2015. We are happy to collaborate and work with universities to adapt and improve Virteasy.
Virteasy Editor allows the creation of new exercises using multiple-STLs (3D objects & intra-oral patient scans), DICOMs (CT scans) and DICOM with segmentation.
Our device has been recognised by Epic Games (makers of Unreal Engine and Fortnite) and has received a Epic Mega Grant to fund development. We are currently working on a prototype to bring Virteasy to the Unreal Engine and another prototype to have a fully immersive VR experience using Oculus headsets.
Available in Plug & Play (works by itself), Classroom Setup (teacher PC and server) and Extended VR Classrooms.
