Virteasy Dental V2 & VR (NEW): NextGen haptic & VR simulator
We have just launched Virteasy Dental V2 & VR (by HRV Simulation - a French startup) - the only NextGen haptic / full VR simulator built on the Unreal Engine and using Oculus VR headsets. Used by more than 40 universities worldwide to teach students restoration, endodontics, prosthodontics, implantology (with full planning) and validating core operative skills.
Our development partner is The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom who have fully integrated Virteasy into their under graduate teaching programme since 2015. We are happy to collaborate and work with universities to adapt and improve Virteasy.
Virteasy Editor allows the creation of new exercises using multiple-STLs (3D objects & intra-oral patient scans), DICOMs (CT scans) and DICOM with segmentation.
Our device has been recognised by Epic Games (makers of Unreal Engine and Fortnite) and has received a Epic Mega Grant to fund development.
Available in Plug & Play (works by itself) and Classroom Setup (multiple simulators, teacher PC and server).
