The Great Lakes Center for Occupational Health and Safety (GLC-OHS) at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health is a recognized leader in the national and international movement to promote healthier workplaces and workers. The center is one of 18 Education and Research Centers funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The GLC-OHS educates graduate students in OHS, generates research findings to improve worker health, and provides trainings to employers, unions and worker organizations.
