The Jackson Laboratory is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution based in Bar Harbor, ME, with facilities in California and Connecticut. Our mission is to discover precise genomic solutions for disease and empower the global biomedical community in our shared quest to improve human health. We distribute more than 6,000 mouse strains, provide enabling tools, curate critical data and deliver services that help to realize the goals of research and clinical communities worldwide.
