TissueVision Inc. merges 3D imaging and multiomics.

TissueVision Inc. (TVI) is a multi-disciplinary life sciences company offering 3D tissue imaging and analysis solutions. Our powerful Serial Two-Photon Plus (STP²) platform features stunning high-resolution multispectral datasets and analysis pipelines that create reliable 3D tissue models. The indexed histological sections produced during the STP² process can be further investigated with secondary analyses that run the gamut from standard histological stains to advanced spatial multiomics.

 Press Releases

  • TissueVision, Inc. announced today that it has opened an expanded 10,500 sq-ft headquarters and manufacturing facility to increase capacity for its rapidly growing imaging services business.

“We are thrilled about the new facility. It allows us to deepen our commitment to provide our life sciences and pharmaceutical clients the tools they need to help develop the next generation of potentially life-saving therapeutics and scientific breakthroughs that will define the scientific marketplace of the future,” said Tim Ragan, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of TissueVision. “We’re proud that this investment will create jobs and strengthen community ties here in Newton, Massachusetts.”

“Just around the corner from my office, TissueVision is a pioneer in mental health research and imaging solutions. It is because of labs like TissueVision that the Fourth District leads the way in the life sciences, and this grant will help continue that tradition,” said Congressman Jake Auchincloss (MA-04), referring to the grant TissueVision received in 2021 from the National Institute on Aging.

TVI’s imaging services business offers specialized 3D spatial biology solutions using Serial Two-Photon Plus (STP2) technology. The contract research services team provides a GLP-like environment with proper documentation and quality control measures to help answer clients’ research questions by:

    • Generating functional multiplexed 3D tissue models with histological quality
    • Capturing informative sections for secondary analysis of protein and biomarker expression
    • Providing an accessible and protected cloud-based platform for viewing entire image datasets

The STP2 technology and 3D spatial biology analysis, along with TVI's imaging staff's deep expertise, provides clients with the knowledge and confidence to make critical decisions on how to advance their research, ultimately providing impactful translational data to better support clinical research.
