ImmuONE has been awarded £600K to complete CRACK IT Challenge 36 Phase 2 studies organised by the National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs), sponsored by AstraZeneca and Unilever.
Led by our CSO, Dr Victoria Hutter, the ImmuONE team had an exceptionally successful Phase 1 Proof-Of-Concept toxicology study. Phase 2 of animal-free research began earlier this month to adapt current OECD (Organisation for Economic Development) Guidelines governing in vitro tests without the use of animal products.
Our goal is to develop robust, human-relevant, and chemically defined assays to improve the quality and reproducibility of data.
