An opportunity for a maximum of five (5) confirmed APA 2024 exhibitors to participate in The Exchange, to facilitate peer-to-peer topical group discussions about current challenges that are facing the field of psychology.

NOTE: The Exchange opportunity is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is not considered an APA 2024 sponsorship. Hence, APA 2024 sponsor benefits and recognition do not apply. Exhibitor participants will receive recognition via The Exchange.

The Exchange sessions typically draw 15-30 attendees. Each exhibitor participant will receive a total of two (2) 30-45 minute session slots during August 8, August 9, and August 10 (session dates and times to be determined by APA). Session topics can be the same or different for the two dates/times. At the end of each of their two sessions, exhibitor facilitators may invite attendees to continue the conversation at their booth.

Once confirmed by APA as an exhibitor facilitator, the process is as follows:

1) Exhibitor participant submits to APA their session topic(s) and facilitator name(s). Submission should include: a) Title; b) Description, 2-3 sentences; c) Key Takeaways (at least 3); and d) Facilitator Name(s), Title, and Brief Bio. The topic must be informative and engaging, and not sales- or product-focused. NOTE: The Exchange program is a non-registered event in which attendee interest is driven solely by the topic titles.

2) APA reviews the session submission to ensure relevancy in the world, to APA members, and how it is represented across the organization.

3) Once the session topic has been approved by APA, the exhibitor participant will work directly with the APA Manager, Strategic Programs, to coordinate details and material deadlines.
