Southern Products and Silica - Hoffman, NC (since 1933) produces a complete line of high purity filter media, silica sand and gravel grades. We can accommodate specifications for even some non-standard effective sizes, while often being able to attain lower target uniformity coefficients of 1.4, or perhaps less. Our filter media is utilized on projects regionally, nationally, and internationally, meets American Water Works Association B100 Standard for Filtering Materials, and is NSF listed.
