Established in 2008, we are the manufacturer of HI-CHEW, HI-SOFT, and Chargel in the United States. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Morinaga & Co., Ltd., which began in 1899 as the first modern candy maker and producer of chocolates in Japan.
In 2015, we opened our first USA manufacturing facility in Mebane, North Carolina where we manufacture some of our most popular flavor assortments including Original Mix and Fantasy Mix.
With over 200 flavors of HI-CHEW™ having debuted in Japan, it’s our mission to bring new innovation to your CANDY, SNACK, and IMPULSE sets every year with delicious new flavors and family-friendly favorites that everyone can enjoy.
