The real Abe was born with a serious food allergy to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, dairy, soy and sesame. Tired of seeing him left out during treat time at school and among friends, Joby (Abe's Dad) and Marty Koffman (Abe's Uncle) leveraged their experience in commercial baking to develop the Abe's brand.
Since our launch in 2014, Abe's has grown to be the #1 best-selling vegan and allergy-friendly bakery brand in the U.S. Our product line includes muffins, cupcakes, brownies, pound cakes, and layer cakes – all made at our own, dedicated facility in West Nyack, New York.
