Benin: The huntable area of 27,000 hectare, is located in northern Benin border with the park La Pendjari in the west and the mountain range of Atacora in the east. Bordered by the Pendjari River on its western flank, which borders the National Park, this geographical location makes it a mandatory passage area for game and especially for buffaloes that are here in abundance. More than fifty kilometers of track run along the Atacora hills. There are twelve permanent springs at the bottom of the canyons. These water points are bordered by a small gallery forest consisting of large caïlcédrat, sausage trees, and palm trees. This is the landmark of lions and leopards. Indeed a multitude of herbivores and monkeys come to drink all day. As you can imagine, monotony is not part of the landscape. This diversity of the biotope attracts many herbivores, carnivores and a variety of amazing birds.
Congo: In the Congo the Tala Tala hunting area covers 150,000 hectares of tropical rainforest, and is prime bongo habitat. Within the rainforest many charismatic and unusual species can be encountered such as the western lowland gorillas, forest elephants, leopards and giant forest hogs all of which are protected species in Congo. Besides these species there are also plenty of iconic huntable species such as the western bongo, forest sitatunga, dwarf forest buffalo, yellow backed duiker and several other duiker species.
Conservation is not a faint word nowadays. We strongly believe in sustainable hunting as an essential conservation tool for the future of the African wildlife. We work in close relationship with the wildlife department in both countries. We manage and finance an anti-poaching unit to protect the areas.
