About Mbalabala Safaris

Concessions include two family properties. Other hunting is sourced from a number of privately owned game and cattle ranches in the south western districts of Matabeleland South. Leopard and Plains Game are the major attractions of our safaris. The list of available animals can be found on our Enquiry Form. Clients are accommodated in the Farm Homestead (Limerick) and at a reed and tented camp on the banks of a farm dam (Mashura).
Recently Mbalabala Safaris has secured the hunting rights fro the Hwange Communal Land which covers Matetsi, Hwange Communal land and surround areas thus adding Elephant, Hippo and Crocodile to our list of available animals. We also have access to hunt in the Marula District which is renowned for its big leopard. We have access to hunt Buffalo in the Matetsi areas.

Over the last few years Mbalabala safaris has worked tirelessly to restore the wildlife and aid the communities in the Hwange region. Without hunters dollars during the pandemic, these efforts were nearly erased. Thanks to Hunters CARE and private donations, this was not the case.
