Safari Royal, Tanzania is a family-operated company and proudly Tanzanian. Your safari itinerary is personally handled by Mike and his wife Helen, from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and hands on approach to every detail of your trip. They were both born and raised in Tanzania and are based there year-round.
Mike and Helen have extensive knowledge and experience in the Tanzania hunting industry and can boast a well-earned reputation for excellence, tailoring premium safaris to meet individual needs and high expectations, while hosting hunters in comfortable and authentic camps in the best concessions. Mike, a second-generation professional hunter, was fully licensed in 1993 and has hunted exclusively in Tanzania ever since. He is also very active in the hunting community, dedicated to avidly advocating for responsible, respectful hunting and effective conservation through well-regulated sustainable use. He currently serves as the President of the African Professional Hunters Association.
