Recognized as one of the World's finest gun makers, in 1812 William Westley Richards founded the company that bears his name and continues to flourish today. In over 200 years of continuous gun making, Westley Richards & Co. has been credited with some of the greatest designs in firearm history. In all 115 patents were applied for, with many of these designs, such as the hand detachable lock action or droplock, still being used on our guns and rifles today.
