Outdoor roadway cafés for restaurants and bars that are modular, scalable, and reusable.

We have designed our cafés to be safe, accessible, simple to clean, and easy to assemble & breakdown for storage.

The foundation of our patent-pending modular design is constructed on a Pod system (metal, not wood) and flexible to fit your roadway size and location.

This allows for a more economical and efficient approach to creating your own outdoor roadway café.

Product Features & Catalog

Our Patent-Pending Product has been designed as a scalable, reusable ‘Pod system’ available in different sizes to meet the needs of our customers.

We have designed our Pods to be modular and safe - made completely of metal alloys and composite materials allowing for individual parts to be replaced. Safety is critical so we have designed our barriers out of metal, attached to one another and the Pod itself, creating one of the safest systems on the market.

Wood materials are less impact resistant, less durable and short-lived. And custom systems will not have the same useful life as our design. We believe in you get what you pay for.

We have designed our Pods to create a cleaner environment. The floor of each Pod is designed so that the floor-door is hinged and able to be lifted/secured for cleaning. Once the Pod is assembled, it can be disassembled and ‘flat-packed’ for easier and more efficient storage.

We offer site surveys, permit guidance, installation, removal, maintenance, and off-season storage. We understand the NYC DOT requirements and designed our Pod system to conform. Our system is cost-effective and can either be purchased directly or leased.

    Hospitality owners are not in the business of outdoor furniture. They have looked to contractors to build permanent structures that in many cases are outdoor sheds at best. We saw the poor quality of the outdoor cafés and once the permanent NYC outdoor dining program was approved, the idea of strEATery was born.

    Our products are not constructed of wood materials – we have designed our Pods with a metal frame structure that is not only more durable, but safer. We are a true solution for restaurants and bars that provides a modular, safe, and economical outdoor dining structure so they can get on with business.
