Volunteer Application - VenueConnect

VenueConnect 2022: Phoenix, AZ | July 18 – 21, 2022

Priority Application Deadline: June 1, 2022 Notified: Beginning June 13, 2022

Students and young professionals are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be willing to support IAVM Foundation and IAVM staff onsite with various tasks (registration, meeting logistics, fundraising support, event support, etc.) Applicants will be working a minimum of six – eight hours each day (actual hours will vary) during the conference. All volunteers receive complimentary registration which includes access to a variety of educational sessions, networking events, and meals. Volunteers are responsible for all costs associated with transportation to/from Phoenix, housing, and incidentals.

100+ Women VC22 Scholarship Application

VenueConnect 2022: Phoenix, AZ | July 18 – 21, 2022

Application Deadline: May 20, 2022 Notified: May 24, 2022

The IAVM Foundation will award five (5)100+ Women scholarships to VenueConnect 2022, which will cover the cost of registration. Applications will be scored solely on the responses to the essay prompts. 

100+ Women Scholarship Application Criteria

  • Must identify as a woman and be employed or recently employed in the venue industry
  • Must have an active professional, allied or young professional membership with IAVM
  • Must apply by the deadline.
  • Recipients must be able and willing to attend VenueConnect 2022
  • Recipients must be willing to support the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives by providing testimonials, photo(s), blogging about their experience and participating in speaking opportunities as an advocate for the Foundation as requested

Joseph A. Floreano VenueConnect Scholarships 

VenueConnect 2022: Phoenix, AZ | July 18 – 21, 2022

The IAVM Foundation will award three (3) awards for each scholarship catgory which will cover the cost of registration & provide a $600 stipend. Applications will be scored solely on the responses to the essay prompts.  

Diversity Scholarship Application Criteria

  • Applicants must be American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Latinx, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander, LGBTQIA, or a person with disabilities.
  • Applicants must be employed or recently employed in the venue industry.
  • Applicants must have an active professional or young professional membership with IAVM.
  • Applications must be submitted no later than the deadline.
  • Recipients must be able and willing to attend VenueConnect 2022.
  • Recipients must be willing to support the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives by providing testimonials, photo(s), blogging about their experience and participating in speaking opportunities as an advocate for the Foundation as requested.

  • Recipients must be able and willing to attend VenueConnect 2022.
  • Recipients must be willing to support the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives by providing testimonials, photo(s), blogging about their experience and participating in speaking opportunities as an advocate for the Foundation as requested.
