The National FFA Organization is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares students for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Booth highlights will include: Introduction to Agricultural Career Network, Access to Career Cruising, Scholarships and the Curriculum for Agricultural Sciences Education, a system of instructional support for teachers providing curriculum, professional development, assessment and certification.
Today there are 653,359 FFA members in grades seven through 12 who belong to one of 8,568 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. 51% of FFA members are male, 42% are female and 7 % are reported as undisclosed. Seventy-one percent of FFA members attend high school, 21% attend middle school, and 1 % attend college (7% of membership has not reported grade level). FFA chapters can be found in 24 of the 25 largest metro U.S. Areas.
